So you jumped right into Bitches Brew, did you? Shoulda known. Not the most accessible, but if you like it, good on ya. That electric, high-energy jazz fusion stuff couldn’t be more different from his earlier recordings. It’s all good and always groundbreaking. He was amazing. If you haven’t tried “Kind of Blue” I still recommend it. Totally melloooow. The musicians had no idea what they were going to play until he handed them the charts at the recording session. Th charts gave modal structure, but no notes or other instructions, so the entire album is improvised. Not that popularity is an indication of quality, but Kind of Blue is the best selling album in the history of jazz. It’s just so damn good!

But enough about me. Let’s talk about you. Thanks again for that sensual, impressionistic portrait of love and bondage. So good!

Writing about life and love, along with a few crazy stories just for fun.
