Beautiful portrait of something so often misrepresented as “pretty.” Love is smothered by pretty, and nice, and comfortable. It blossoms in risk, and struggle, and loss, if and when those are faced together. If any two people ever went through a series of tough times together, it was me and Grace, and we fell more deeply in love every day. Thank you for writing this and reminding me of that.
